revival of ZRH's legendary DC-8
This legendary Douglas DC-8 was built in 1960 as a DC-8-32/33 version and delivered to UAT carrying registration F-BJLB.

After three years of operation for UAT, it changed to UTA in 1963, following the merger between UAT and TAI. Ship 83 was converted to a DC-8-53 version in 1965.

In summer 1975 the aircraft was leased to TAE – Trabajos Aéreos y Enlaces as EC-CMT.

Air Afrique took over MSN 45568 in 1979 where it was registered as TU-TCP.

In 1985 this aircraft made its way to Zurich Airport where it was used for training purposes.
